Community Meetup Constanța
AmpliFY ONG brought its first Community Meetup to Constanța, with more than 100 people at ZBOR Hub and Ambasada as local partner.
On September 30, AmpliFY ONG brought together more than 100 people for the first local edition of Community Meetup, organized at ZBOR Hub Constanța. NGOs, companies, public institutions and people involved in local initiatives spent the day talking about the challenges they face, the resources they need and the things they could work on together.
As local partner, Ambasada was glad to be part of the day and meet people working on different projects across Constanța. Some were already familiar with each other, while others were meeting for the first time. There was plenty to discuss, from finding funding and building partnerships with companies to making better use of the resources already available in the local community.
The programme included conversations with representatives from Galați Community Foundation, JRS Romania, Ameropa Foundation Romania, Ameropa Grains and BCR Social Finance. Each brought a different perspective on how organizations can sustain their work, find support and develop partnerships that make sense for their needs.
The discussions continued in a working session where participants shared ideas and considered possible next steps for Constanța. It was a chance to talk about what is already happening locally, where support is missing and which connections could lead to something useful.
Later in the evening, NGOs Night Out at Botanica Coffee offered a more relaxed setting to continue those conversations.
We left with new contacts, familiar faces to reconnect with and a better sense of the initiatives taking shape around Constanța. Having more than 100 people in the room showed how many people are already putting time and energy into the local community.
Thank you to AmpliFY ONG for bringing Community Meetup to Constanța, and to everyone who took part in the conversations. We were happy to support this first edition locally, alongside ZBOR Hub Constanța, Galați Community Foundation and JRS Constanța.
We are sure that some of the conversations started that day will continue in the projects and collaborations ahead.
