Beta Nights #10 - Anniversary Edition!

Ten meetups in.

On August 13, Beta Nights reached its tenth edition at Zoom Beach, a small milestone for something that started with a few people, long conversations and late-night shaworma.

The first Beta Nights were simple. People showed up, talked about what they were working on, exchanged ideas, and stayed longer than planned. Over time, those evenings grew into something bigger: new friendships, unexpected collaborations, new people joining the community, and more reasons to keep bringing everyone together.

Along the way, Beta Nights also became the starting point for bigger things. We organized our first hackathon at scale in Constanța, brought more of the local tech and startup ecosystem together, and started building towards bigger ideas for the community and the region.

But the tenth edition was really about the people behind all of that.

• The ones who came to the first meetups.
• The ones who kept coming back.
• The ones who brought someone new along.
• And the ones who simply showed up, stayed for a conversation, and became part of the story.

There was no stage or packed agenda for #10. Just a summer evening at the beach, familiar faces, new ones, plenty of conversations, and drinks on us.

Ten editions later, the spirit is still pretty much the same: bring good people together, give them a place to talk, and let the rest happen naturally.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the first ten.

Here’s to whatever comes next.
